hypo-allergenic diet

Hello Victoria!

I'm about to go on the hypo-allergenic diet where I basically eat no gluten, no dairy, no red meat and really nothing but organic chicken, brown rice and vegetables for a few weeks. Then I add stuff in and see if it upsets my stomach. So my question is... is there anywhere I can eat out during this time?? I'm not too hopeful, but I thought I'd just throw it out there. Basically I'd need a guarantee that my food has no added sugar etc, because this is for such a short time I might as well do it properly. It would be different if I was trying to live with this diet (hopefully not!)

Thank you Victoria!

Maybe Green Cuisine in Market Square? I haven't been there in ages, but I seem to remember it being the only place I could get like fresh hot steamed broccoli and the like.
Thanks for the tip, I'll go check it out! One more week of freedom... ;)
You will be able to eat at Green Cuisine ... I follow a similar diet - no gluten, dairy or sugar but it is ridiculously hard to eat out. Sugar is by far the biggest obstacle. At Green Cuisine they list all the ingredients on the buffet so you can check it out before you buy.

This isn't exactly an endorsement of Green Cuisine though, I find the place to be pretty dirty, and have literally have had rodents running around my feet several times when I ate there. Also the food is cold alot of the time and some of the staff, while not outwardly rude, are not friendly by any stretch of the imagination.

I know I'm a sucker to even ever go back, but sometimes I just can't be bothered to cook for myself so I cave and find myself wondering why when I get there, haha.
